The last great plague

Influenza is known as the Last Great Plague because is the last of the world plagues of mankind yet to be conquered.

Throughout the centuries deadly epidemics were striking humanity. No one understood what caused them no did they know how to prevent them. Influenza remains, even in this scientific age “the last of the great infectious agents that trouble mankind for which biomedical research has not been able to propose even a theoretically permanent solution.”

The Spanish Influenza pandemic of 1918-1919 is called “one of the three most destructive outbreaks of disease the human race has ever known.” It occurred in three separate waves in less that 12 months. Like the Black Plague of old, this killer was swift, relentless and contagious. According to statistics it took the lives of 20 to 50 million people worldwide.

Homeopathy & Influenza

Should a deadly influenza virus once again stalk the earth, would homeopathy be able to offer any protection? Well, homeopathy proved its worth during the great 1918-18 flu pandemic, homeopathic hospitals had a mortality rate of only 3%, compared to 45% in the allopathic hospitals.
